What You Will Own


As a Cluster Manager (CM), one should have a thorough knowledge of the respective geography and needs to work closely with the distribution team and Non-Certified Partners to reach out across the geography. Managing distribution for the geography for all Partner Business Groups with the Tally Distribution Partner branch and its team is one of the core areas of responsibility who will also be the P&L ownership of the TDP operations for the branch in the respective territory.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and very good in team administration.
  • Exceptional understanding of distribution, partner, and branch management.
  • Good knowledge of local geography.
  • Efficient in route planning/ beat planning to get optimum reach.
  • Exceptionally good in planning events and activities to ensure business growth.
  • Efficient customer management.
  • Good selling and negotiations skills.
  • Ability to coach and mentor the team.
  • Excellent execution of initiatives and business processes for branch.
  • Good knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint.


What You Will Be Doing


  • Business planning across a Partners Business Group network for assigned territory.
  • Groom and coach, the partner network for overall development.
  • Mentor and groom TDP team for achieving optimized productivity, growth, and smooth network management.
  • Regular structured business reviews must be anchored with the TDP team members to examine the progress and do the necessary corrections wherever required to achieve the set plans.
  • Have a clear understanding of the key focus areas of TSPL to create and plan and execute such planned activities and events which will help the non-CPs to reach out to their set of customers and prospects to showcase our product features and its relevance to establish how Tally can help a customer do its business most effectively.
  • Travelling across the respective geography markets and visiting partners for 10-12 days a month will be a part of the regular routine for a Cluster Manager.
  • Ensure great customer experience via different sales programs.
  • Improve business expansion/ territory spread and district penetration.
  • Improve visibility and business share in retail segment of the partner group.
  • All activities/ initiatives impacting business and customer relations management.
  • Influence and maintain infrastructure, operations, and efficiency of branch operations of Tally Distribution Partners (TDP).
