Cloud Solution Architect


🔹 Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement

    scalable, secure, and cost-optimized cloud architectures

  • Define and drive

    hybrid and multi-cloud strategies

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, DevOps, security, and infrastructure
  • Provide expert guidance on

    cloud services, tools, and best practices

  • Assess existing systems and recommend

    cloud migration and modernization strategies

  • Create and maintain

    cloud architecture standards, HLDs, and LLDs

  • Ensure compliance with

    security, governance, and regulatory requirements

  • Optimize cloud environments for

    performance, cost, and reliability

  • Conduct

    Proof of Concepts (POCs)

    to validate solutions
  • Identify risks, gaps, and mitigation plans while bringing innovative ideas
  • Stay updated with

    emerging cloud technologies and industry trends


🔹 Must-Have Technical Skills

  • Cloud Solution Architecture

    (Hybrid & Multi-Cloud)
  • Strong expertise in

    Microsoft Azure

    and

    Azure Stack HCI

  • Hands-on experience with

    Kubernetes, Docker

    , and container orchestration
  • Deep understanding of

    microservices architecture and design patterns

  • Experience in creating, scaling, migrating, and managing

    compute & storage resources

  • Expertise in

    n-tier distributed applications

    across multi-data-center environments
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Servers, Storage, Virtualization
  • Databases (RDBMS, NoSQL, Big Data)
  • Networking & Security (Firewalls, Load Balancers, VPC, NSG)
  • Backup and Disaster Recovery
  • Sound knowledge of

    web architecture

    (HTTPS, DNS, IP, SSL, CDN, Caching, Routing)
  • Experience with

    IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS

    offerings in public cloud
  • Software-defined networking:

    VPN, VPC, ExpressRoute, Gateways, Firewalls

  • Strong

    DevOps & CI/CD

    experience with tools like

    Terraform, Ansible

  • Expertise in

    cloud pricing, cost optimization, and billing reports

  • Infrastructure & application monitoring using cloud and third-party tools
