Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Hosting & Server Management

• Manage and maintain Shared, VPS, Dedicated, and Cloud Hosting environments.
• Administer cPanel, WHM, and Plesk for hosting accounts, domains, databases, emails, and resource monitoring.
• Plan and execute server migrations, backups, and restores ensuring minimal downtime.

2. Cloud Platforms & Deployment

• Deploy, manage, and scale applications on AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar platforms.
• Configure VMs/instances, firewall/security groups, and web stacks (LAMP/LEMP).
• Implement monitoring, automated backups, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.

3. Networking, DNS, Email & Security

• Configure and troubleshoot DNS records (A, MX, TXT, CNAME), nameservers, and domain pointing.
• Manage email configurations, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and resolve delivery issues.
• Handle SSL/TLS certificates, installation, renewal, and error resolution.
• Implement firewall/security rules and DDoS mitigation using CSF, Cloudflare, or cloud-native solutions.

4. Troubleshooting & Operational Support

• Identify and resolve website/server outages and performance issues.
• Monitor system resources including CPU, RAM, and disk usage.
• Analyze logs, correct permissions, validate configurations, and restart services as needed.

5. Automation & Billing Integration

• Integrate and manage WHMCS with hosting control panels (cPanel/Plesk) for automated account provisioning and billing workflows.
• Troubleshoot provisioning failures, API issues, and ensure seamless automation between billing and hosting platforms.

6. Performance & Scalability

• Design scalable and highly available hosting/cloud infrastructure for high-traffic or resource-intensive applications.
• Optimize performance through load balancing, resource tuning, and capacity planning.

7. Leadership & Mentoring

• Mentor and guide junior engineers and support teams on best practices for cloud infrastructure, troubleshooting, and deployment.
• Define SOPs, operational guidelines, and escalation processes to ensure smooth IT operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7–8 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, hosting environments, and server management.
• Strong understanding of DNS, networking, email systems, SSL, and security best practices.
• Experience with WHMCS or similar billing/automation tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Leadership experience in guiding teams and defining IT operational processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
