FAIZ Facility Management System (www.faizfms.in ) Head office: Dhatkidih, Jamshedpur Job Description: Civil Engineer (Jamshedpur) Position: Civil Engineer Location: Jamshedpur, Jharkhand Openings: 02 Experience Required: 02 to 08 years Key Requirement: Working knowledge of AutoCAD is mandatory Role Overview We are seeking skilled and motivated proficient Civil Engineers to join our team in Jamshedpur. The ideal candidates will possess strong technical expertise in civil engineering, hands-on experience with AutoCAD, and a proven ability to execute and manage construction projects from inception to completion. Key Responsibilities Manage, design, develop, and maintain construction projects, ensuring timely and quality delivery. Prepare and review detailed engineering drawings and plans using AutoCAD software. Conduct on-site investigations, analyze data, and assess project feasibility (materials, risks, costs). Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure project specifications are met. Oversee day-to-day site activities, ensuring compliance with design, safety, and quality standards. Support the procurement of materials and equipment required for project execution. Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and records throughout the project lifecycle. Provide technical support and resolve any emerging issues or deficiencies during construction. Ensure all work adheres to relevant building codes, regulations, and company policies. Participate in project meetings, contributing to problem-solving and decision-making processes. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelors or Diploma in Civil Engineering (or related field). 2 to 8 years of relevant experience in civil engineering or construction projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD and ability to produce high-quality technical drawings. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and processes. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications. Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and quality. Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations. Project management and supervision skills are an advantage. Preferred Attributes Experience with additional engineering software (e.g., civil 3D) is a plus. Prior experience in site execution, documentation, and project coordination. Adaptability to handle changing project requirements and work in a fast-paced environment.
