Willingness to Travel: Pan India and local Jamshedpur area. Job Description The Site Engineer (Civil) will be responsible for supervising and managing civil construction projects for the FAIZ FMS at Dhatkidih, Jamshedpur. This role demands strong technical expertise, leadership, and the ability to work extended hours in a rotational shift pattern. The ideal candidate will ensure that all on-site activities are completed safely, within budget, and on schedule, while adhering to quality and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Supervise day-to-day construction activities to ensure project completion as per design, schedule, and budget. Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with specifications and building codes. Conduct site inspections, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Prepare and submit site reports, construction schedules, and project updates to management and clients. Resolve technical issues and unforeseen challenges on site promptly. Ensure all materials used and work performed meet specified requirements and quality benchmarks. Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain effective communication and address issues. Maintain accurate records of construction activities, budgets, and any changes to project plans. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times. Willingness to travel to project sites across India as required. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Proven experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar civil construction role5. Strong knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and relevant safety guidelines. Excellent organizational, project management, and leadership abilities. Ability to interpret technical drawings and plans. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel pan India5. Additional certifications or licenses (e.g., Professional Engineering license) are an advantage. Working Conditions On-site work at Dhatkidih, Jamshedpur, with rotational shifts (9 am to 7 pm). Work schedule includes all days of the week (Monday to Saturday). Must be prepared to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and travel as required.
