Civil Engineer

Job Title: Civil Engineer Location: Solan, Himachal Pradesh Job Type: Full Time Reports To: Directors Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to plan, design, and oversee construction and infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, buildings, water systems, and other public and private sector developments. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates. Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, codes, and standards. Monitor and report on project progress, budgets, and timelines. Liaise with clients, contractors, architects, and other stakeholders. Oversee construction activities to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to plans. Use design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or STAAD Pro. Prepare technical reports and documentation for regulatory approvals and internal use. Resolve design and development issues during project execution. Ensure adherence to environmental and sustainability standards. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. 1+ years of experience in civil engineering or related field. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or in progress. Proficiency in civil engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD, etc.). Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations. Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Working Conditions: Split between office work and site visits. Must be able to work in outdoor conditions and construction sites. May require occasional travel based on project locations.
