We are looking for an experienced STP Operator to manage and operate the sewage treatment plant (STP) efficiently and in compliance with environmental regulations. The candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, monitoring, maintenance, and record-keeping of the STP system.
1. Government e-Marketplace (GeM) & NProcure Portal HandlingRegular monitoring of tenders on GeM & NProcure portals. Product and service listing on GeM and ensuring compliance with listing policies. Tender document download, evaluation of eligibility, and preparation of pre-bid queries. Preparing and submitting online bids including BOQ, technical documents, and certifications. Maintaining compliance documents like MSME, ISO, PAN, GST, Work Orders, etc. Coordination with departments post-bid submission for clarification, negotiation, or order finalization. Regular updates on order status and responding to queries on the portal. 2. Lead Management (IndiaMART & Justdial)Handle daily inquiries and leads received through IndiaMART and Justdial platforms. Follow up with prospective clients via calls and emails to convert leads into orders. Maintain records of inquiries, client requirements, quotations, and follow-ups. Monitor inlet & outlet water parameters like pH, TSS, BOD, COD, etc. Maintain air pressure in aeration tanks; ensure uniform diffuser function. Check MLSS levels and sludge settling conditions. Ensure smooth running of motors, panels, and electrical equipment. Routine Maintenance Clean bar screens, aeration tanks, and clarifiers regularly. Perform daily backwash of filters (PSF/ACF). Inspect and clean dosing tanks and chemical dosing pumps. Maintain oil levels and belt conditions in blowers and pumps. Replace worn parts like diffusers, gaskets, and valve seals. Chemical Handling Handle and prepare dosing chemicals: alum, chlorine, polyelectrolyte, PAC, etc. Record consumption and storage of chemicals. Record Keeping & Reporting Maintain daily log sheets of flow readings, pH, and equipment status. Report abnormalities or breakdowns immediately to the supervisor.
