Boiler Operator

Job Title: Boiler Operator Location: Solan | On-site | Full-Time About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Boiler Operator to operate and maintain high-pressure and low-pressure boilers in accordance with standard operating procedures and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in boiler operations, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting of steam generation systems in an industrial setting. Key Responsibilities: ·       Operate and monitor high-pressure and low-pressure boilers as per standard operating procedures. ·       Monitor and regulate boiler performance through gauges, meters, and PLC/computer-controlled systems. ·       Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs on boilers and auxiliary equipment. ·       Maintain accurate logbooks for temperature, pressure, fuel consumption, and other key parameters. ·       Perform water treatment operations and regularly test boiler water for chemical balance. ·       Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations at all times. ·       Report equipment malfunctions, leaks, or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately. ·       Participate in boiler startup and shutdown procedures, especially during maintenance schedules. ·       Follow all guidelines for fuel storage, handling, usage, and emergency response protocols.   Skills & Qualifications: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Valid Boiler Attendant Certificate (1st Class or 2nd Class) as per Indian Boiler Regulations. 2–5 years of hands-on experience in operating industrial boilers. Familiarity with PLC-based systems and boiler automation is an added advantage. Strong understanding of industrial safety, health standards, and environmental compliance. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, equipment drawings, and standard operating procedures. Good communication skills and a proactive attitude towards plant safety and efficiency.
