Job role - production manager About the Role: We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Production In-Charge to manage our Pine Oil Processing & Distillation Unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the distillation unit, managing the pine column operations, and delivering timely and efficient production of high-quality Pine Oil, Turpentine Oil, and Double Distilled Turpentine Oil. This is a key operational role suited for someone with strong technical skills and experience in plant/production management within a chemical or similar industry. Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day operations of the pine distillation unit. Ensure timely and quality production of Pine Oil, Turpentine Oil, and Double Distilled Turpentine Oil. Monitor and manage column operations and overall plant workflow. Maintain production schedules and coordinate with relevant departments for raw material and logistics. Supervise the plant workforce and ensure adherence to safety and operational protocols. Maintain production records, efficiency reports, and downtime analysis. Implement process improvements to optimize productivity and reduce waste. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and quality benchmarks. Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or related field. oil or chemical industry experience is required 3+ years of experience in a production or distillation unit, preferably in chemical or oil-based industries. Strong understanding of distillation processes and plant operations. Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment.
