Key Responsibilities:

1. Citrix Environment Management

• Deploy, configure, and maintain

  Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD)

  environments across on-premises or cloud platforms.
• Support Citrix components such as

  Delivery Controllers, StoreFront, Director, Citrix ADC (NetScaler), and Citrix Cloud

  .
• Manage

  application and desktop publishing

  , profile management (FSLogix or Citrix UPM), and session optimization.
• Troubleshoot

  login issues, session disconnects, and profile-related problems

  .
• Monitor performance using

  Citrix Director

  ,

  ControlUp

  , or equivalent tools.

2. Windows Server & Infrastructure Administration

• Install, configure, and manage

  Windows Server 2016/2019/2022

  , Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Support

  virtual infrastructure (VMware or Hyper-V)

  for hosting Citrix and application servers.
• Handle patch management, backup, and performance tuning of Windows servers.
• Implement

  disaster recovery and high availability (HA) strategies

  for critical infrastructure components.

3. User Access & Security

• Integrate Citrix access with

  Azure AD, Conditional Access, MFA

  , and SSO solutions.
• Manage

  role-based access control (RBAC)

  and enforce security baselines across all managed systems.
• Work with security teams to harden Citrix and Windows environments and respond to security incidents

4. Automation & Documentation

• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate

  routine administration, reporting, and remediation

  tasks.
• Maintain

  system documentation

  , SOPs, and troubleshooting guides.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in system reliability and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Must-Have:

• Hands-on experience with

  Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (CVAD)

  .
• Proficiency in

  Windows Server administration

  , including

  Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and GPOs

  .
• Basic understanding of

  virtualization platforms

  (VMware or Hyper-V).
• Experience troubleshooting

  Citrix sessions, logon issues, and Windows server performance

  .
• Scripting knowledge in

  PowerShell

  for administration and automation tasks.

Good-to-Have:

• Experience with

  Citrix Cloud, Citrix ADC (NetScaler), FSLogix

  , or

  App Layering

  .
• Exposure to

  ControlUp, Director, or other Citrix monitoring tools

  .
• Knowledge of

  profile management, image management (MCS/PVS), and storage optimization

  .
• Familiarity with

  patching tools (WSUS, SCCM)

• Understanding of

  ITIL processes, change management, and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow)

Certifications (Preferred but not Mandatory):

• ITIL Foundation Certification

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree

  in

  Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

  (or equivalent work experience).
