Chief Operating Officer

As the Chief Operating Officer at the bank, your primary responsibility is to manage all operational and functional departments effectively in order to support the growth and development plans of the bank. You will work closely with the leadership team to execute strategic plans that align with the bank's objectives and goals. Your role involves interacting with senior stakeholders and other members of the bank's executive management team. Key Responsibilities: - Enhance profitability by effectively managing and negotiating all operating channels - Set department performance goals that align with long-term objectives, and monitor results while identifying and resolving impediments - Collaborate with the Regional Head to establish and execute the strategic operating plan for the Region - Identify current and future human capital needs required for plan execution, and oversee strategy implementation across departments focusing on budget and timelines - Work with department leaders to establish operational processes and identify opportunities for process improvement to support the strategic plan - Develop and monitor performance reporting systems, conduct regular meetings with department heads to ensure clarity of priorities and effective coordination for results achievement - Ensure adherence to internal processes, procedures, and regulatory compliance in partnership with the Regional Head and Head of Sales - Prioritize quality and customer service in department activities related to customer acquisition and service delivery - Foster a high-performance culture through employee development and timely performance management, providing ongoing coaching and leadership for desired results Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred - Proven experience in operational and functional management roles within the banking industry - Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams - Excellent communication and negotiation abilities - In-depth knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements Please note that the company may have additional details available.
