Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company goals. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support business decisions. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess financial performance. Fundraising & Investor Relations: Manage relationships with investors and stakeholders. Prepare financial reports and presentations for board meetings and investor updates. Lead fundraising efforts, including preparing pitch materials and negotiating terms. Financial Operations & Reporting: Oversee accounting, tax, and audit functions to ensure compliance and accuracy. Implement financial controls and systems to safeguard company assets. Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and reports. Risk Management & Compliance: Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards. Advise on financial implications of business decisions and contracts. Team Leadership & Development: Build and lead a high-performing finance team. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with operational objectives. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Up to 15 years of experience in financial management, with at least [X] years in a leadership role within a startup or high-growth environment. Proven track record in financial planning, fundraising, and investor relations. Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements. Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment. Preferred Skills: Experience with financial technologies and systems.
