About The Role
We are seeking a highly organized, strategic, and execution-driven Chief of Staff to the CTO. This role will serve as the CTOs right hand, ensuring that technology initiatives are well-planned, coordinated, and delivered effectively. The Chief of Staff will drive operational excellence, provide program oversight, and enable the CTO to focus on high-impact leadership priorities. This is a unique opportunity to sit at the intersection of technology, business strategy, and execution, helping scale our engineering organization and ensuring the successful delivery of our technology roadmap.
Responsibilities
Delivery & Execution
- Oversee the execution of key technology initiatives, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to scope and quality.
- Build and maintain delivery dashboards, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms for executive visibility.
- Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks; drive alignment and solutions with stakeholders.
- Champion best practices in program management, agile execution, and delivery frameworks.
Project Planning & Roadmap Management
- Partner with the CTO and tech leadership to translate strategic vision into actionable project plans.
- Run planning and prioritization cycles (quarterly/annual), ensuring alignment between product, engineering, and business needs.
- Manage resource allocation trade-offs and maintain a central source of truth for all technology projects.
- Track and communicate progress against roadmap milestones.
Coordination & Leadership Support
- Serve as a coordination hub across engineering, product, design, and business functions.
- Prepare CTO for leadership forums, reviews, board updates, and external engagements with concise briefs and data-driven insights.
- Organize and facilitate leadership meetings, ensuring discussions are structured, outcomes are documented, and follow-ups are executed.
- Drive cross-functional alignment on technical priorities and ensure organizational focus.
Strategic Initiatives & Special Projects
- Lead cross-functional projects that cut across multiple teams and dont have a clear owner.
- Partner with the CTO on org design, scaling processes, and operational improvements.
- Support change management initiatives to improve efficiency and collaboration across the technology organization.
Qualifications
- 8 years of experience in program management, strategy, or operations within a technology-led organization.
- Strong track record of driving delivery of large, complex, and cross-functional initiatives.
- Exceptional organizational and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complexity into clear updates.
- Experience working closely with engineering and product leaders; strong understanding of software delivery practices.
- Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Bonus: Prior experience as Chief of Staff, Technical Program Manager, or Strategy/Operations leader in a scaling tech company.
