Job Description

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – India will be responsible for leading the overall management and strategic direction of the company’s India operations. This role will oversee strategy, operations, business development, and real estate portfolio management, ensuring sustainable growth in alignment with the company’s global standards and objectives. The CEO will represent the company in key partnerships, industry forums, and stakeholder engagements to enhance brand presence and business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute the India office’s long-term strategy in line with global corporate goals.
  • Identify market trends, opportunities, and risks to position the company competitively in the Indian market.
  • Align India operations with global best practices, ensuring consistent brand, quality, and service standards.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee day-to-day business operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and adherence to local regulations.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to measure performance, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Foster a high-performance culture that encourages innovation, accountability, and collaboration.

Business Development & Partnerships

  • Drive business growth by developing new market opportunities, client relationships, and revenue streams.
  • Represent the company in negotiations with key clients, government bodies, and strategic partners.
  • Strengthen and expand partnerships to support sustainable business development.

Real Estate Portfolio Management

  • Lead the planning, acquisition, leasing, and optimization of the company’s real estate assets in India.
  • Ensure efficient space utilization and cost-effective property management aligned with operational needs.

People Leadership

  • Build and lead a strong, diverse leadership team capable of driving the company’s objectives in India.
  • Promote talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement.

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to all corporate governance standards, ethical practices, and local laws.
  • Report regularly to global leadership on performance, risks, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven track record in senior leadership roles, preferably as CEO, Country Head, or Managing Director in a multinational or large-scale business.
  • Strong business acumen with experience in strategy, operations, and business development in the Indian market.
  • Experience in real estate portfolio management is highly desirable.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including government, corporate, and community relations.
  • Strong understanding of corporate governance, compliance, and ethical business practices.
