We’re Hiring: CEO / COO – Multi-Specialty Hospital Operations (Eastern UP)

Role Overview

We seek a high-ownership leader to run end-to-end hospital operations and drive growth across the flagship unit and branches. This is an on-ground role that blends business expansion, operational excellence, quality systems, and crisis management with day-to-day team leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead overall business and operations for a multi-branch network with clear targets on growth and quality
  • Drive IPD and OPD growth, diagnostics throughput, occupancy, revenue, patient experience, and brand visibility
  • Own daily operations and administration, including:
  • Marketing execution and growth initiatives
  • HR, hiring, training, retention, and discipline
  • Daily dashboards, MIS, root-cause reviews, and corrective actions
  • Crisis management and escalation handling
  • Vendor management, purchase, inventory, and cost control
  • Diagnostics operations with lab and radiology performance oversight
  • Implement SOPs and strong review systems with daily and weekly follow-ups and clear accountability
  • Lead NABH and other accreditations, audits, compliance, and continuous improvement programs
  • Ensure seamless coordination across clinical and non-clinical departments, including Front Office, Nursing, OT, ICU, Billing, Pharmacy, Diagnostics, Purchase, and Marketing
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • 10+ years managing hospital operations, preferably across multiple units or a fast-growing setup
  • Proven on-ground leadership and communication skills across doctors, staff, patients, and attendants
  • Full-stack exposure to front office, nursing coordination, OT and ICU, billing, pharmacy, diagnostics, purchase, HR, and marketing
  • Track record of building processes, enforcing SOPs, and delivering measurable outcomes
  • Comfortable operating in Eastern UP with the willingness to be based locally
  • Preferably someone who has grown through responsibility levels and understands ground realities
  • Medical degree is a plus but not mandatory. Execution and results are paramount
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or Hospitality, or a related field. Candidates from the hospitality industry will be preferred
Success Metrics (KPIs)
  • OPD footfall growth and IPD admissions
  • Occupancy rate and average length of stay optimization
  • Revenue growth, payor mix improvement, and collection efficiency
  • Unit EBITDA, cost per occupied bed, and inventory turns
  • Patient satisfaction scores and complaint resolution TAT
  • Diagnostics TAT and machine utilization
  • NABH audit scores, compliance closure within timelines
  • Hiring TAT, training completion, and staff retention
Compensation
  • Fixed salary plus performance incentive
  • Incentives linked to jointly defined growth and performance KPIs
