Job Description

Key Responsibilities


Solution Planning and Design


  • Working with the various specialist business units to ensure robust architectures from end to end.
  • Working with a variety of Architects to develop an appropriate technical solution to meet the respective client requirements.
  • Lead the architecture community on the account and ensure quality of deliverables, robustness of design, a clinical deployment and clear communications to the client and the teams
  • Ensure all scheduled changes are accurate and architecturally sound
  • Ensure all development pipelines are adhering to the architecture of the systems
  • Ensure appropriate reviews are done across the account with respect to architecture ensuring fit for purpose, strategic fit, requirements alignment is maintained
  • Ensure all solutions and architectures are scalable and take into account expansion, growth and peak processing periods.
  • Opportunity and Requirements Analysis


    • Works with the client’s IT, business, C suite and architects to gather requirements to develop an accurate requirements (business, functional, non-functional, compliance, government, foreign, technical, and issue related needs) model with respective traceability matrices.
    • Identifies related requirements associated with lead generation, and opportunity expansion.
    • Understands the market, industry, and technology trends so that they may be injected in to the requirements model and design process.

  • Client Relationship


    • Builds strong professional relationship with key IT and business executives within the client.
    • Understands clearly the direction and strategy of the client as set by the CxO level.
    • Consults to the client in the generation of the account strategic plan, the end to end business systems architecture, innovation opportunities and proposals of additional project work.
    • Establishes customer trusted advisor status with the client.
    • Effectively communicates and articulates the account strategy and architecture


    Account Team Collaboration


    • Actively participates with the account team in account and opportunity planning.
    • Provides solution advice, drives proposals, presentations, and other customer communications during any client pursuit.
    • Runs the architecture practice for the account and therefore is an integral part of the account team.
    • Report to the account from a business operations point of view.
    • Understands the accounts technical needs and proactively engages other teams and resources within company and partners.
    • Applies technical skills to identifying overlooked opportunities within the account.
    • Facilitates a smooth technical transition via presales, sales, implementation and run and maintain.
    • Provides technical governance and ownership on incidents.
    • Works with the account team to identify efficiencies and then to drive them removing cost, risk, bottlenecks, et al.
  • Key Competencies and Skills


    Education And Qualifications


    • Relevant Bachelor degree is required.
    • 15 to 20 year’s-experience in relevant hands on technology (infrastructure, applications, cloud, security), solutioning design, architecture practices and design, and technical consultative techniques.
    • Relevant certificates and/or experience


    Technical and Solution Acumen


    • Demonstrates a broad knowledge of all aspects of IT and has in depth expertise in some areas of IT
    • Understand modern architectural design practices and business domains of change
    • Applies broad understanding of technical innovations & trends to solving customer business problems.
    • Demonstrated ability to establish architectural thought leadership on a large complex account.
    • Demonstrated ability to work as the lead architect on large complex projects, architectures and accounts.
    • Ability to seamlessly understand the client's business, products & services, roadmaps and strategy.
    • Strong knowledge in AWS, Angular, Node Js, J2EE, .Net, Mobility etc

    • Creates solutions that creatively address customer value chain and business requirements.
    • Persuasively communicates the value of the solution in terms of business benefits, positive financial return, and achievement of customer goals
    • Appropriately tailors communications to varying levels of customer management.


    Industry Acumen


    • Demonstrable Industry acumen in at least 2 Industries - starting with Banking and Government sectors.
