Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive scientific research to develop new formulations and improve existing products, utilizing principles of analytical chemistry, biochemistry, and wet chemistry techniques.
• Operate and maintain advanced laboratory instrumentation such as spectrophotometers, gas chromatography (GC), high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), and spectroscopy equipment to analyze samples accurately.
• Design and execute experiments following Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice), and ISO 9001 standards to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Manage laboratory information using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for data tracking, sample management, and reporting.
• Perform quality control tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure they meet stringent specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product development projects, providing technical insights that drive innovation and process optimization.
• Document experimental procedures, results, and analyses thoroughly for regulatory submissions and internal records.
• Support manufacturing processes by troubleshooting technical issues related to chromatography, spectroscopy, or other analytical methods.
• Stay current with advancements in quantum engineering applications relevant to chemical analysis and material sciences to enhance research capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related field; advanced degrees are preferred.
• Proven laboratory experience with a strong background in analytical chemistry techniques such as chromatography (GC/HPLC), spectroscopy, and spectrophotometry.
• Familiarity with GLP, CGMP, ISO 9001 standards ensuring compliance in research and manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on experience working with laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
• Knowledge of wet chemistry methods including titrations, pH analysis, and sample preparation.
• Experience in product development, quality control testing, or manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of scientific research methodologies with an emphasis on precision and accuracy.
• Ability to operate complex analytical instruments such as gas chromatographs and high-performance liquid chromatographs confidently.
• Excellent documentation skills for maintaining detailed experimental records and reports.
