Chemist

As a Chemist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of packaged drinking water through conducting various chemical, physical, and microbiological tests. Your responsibilities will include the following: - Conducting routine testing of raw water, treated water, and final packaged products. - Testing parameters such as pH, TDS, hardness, turbidity, conductivity, and chemical composition. - Performing microbiological tests to identify coliforms, E. coli, and other contaminants. - Ensuring compliance with BIS (IS 14543) or local regulatory standards. - Monitoring water treatment processes like RO, UV, ozone, etc. - Maintaining records of quality checks and ensuring traceability of test results. - Preparing reagents and managing chemical inventory for testing and treatment. - Handling dosing of approved chemicals for disinfection and pH balancing. - Maintaining lab reports, quality logs, and daily water quality records. - Assisting in preparing reports for audits and inspections (e.g., FSSAI, BIS). - Working closely with plant operators to optimize water treatment processes. - Calibrating and maintaining lab equipment such as pH meters, turbidity meters, and spectrophotometers. - Supporting internal and external quality audits and implementing corrective actions based on audit findings. Qualifications required for this role include: - Education: B.Sc. - Experience: 2-3 years This is a full-time position based in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. If you have a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience, you are preferred for this role.,
