Job Summary:

Subject Matter Expert in Cheminformatics / EH&S

This role involves ensuring compliance with international safety standards, managing hazardous materials data, and supporting EH&S operations with accurate, well-organized chemical information.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and update chemical and EH&S data libraries to maintain accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Validate, organize, and maintain chemical information including CAS, InChI, and GHS identifiers.
• Ensure compliance with global, U.S. federal, and California safety and environmental regulations (OSHA, Cal/OSHA, EPA, DOT, etc.).
• Handle laboratory chemical inventory, ensuring safe storage and proper classification of hazardous materials.
• Support risk assessment and environmental health programs by maintaining accurate safety data and records.
• Use cheminformatics and data analysis tools such as

  ChemDraw

  ,

  Chemdoodle

  , and

  AIHA

  software.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and safety reports for internal and regulatory use.
• Collaborate with scientists, EH&S professionals, and IT teams to enhance chemical data accuracy and quality.
• Stay updated with new EH&S regulations, safety technologies, and chemical data tools.
• Identify and resolve inconsistencies in chemical and regulatory datasets.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in

  chemical data management

  ,

  EH&S systems

  , or

  cheminformatics

• Understanding of

  chemical, biological, and radioactive material classification and safety protocols

• Familiarity with

  Globally Harmonized System (GHS)

  for chemical labeling and classification.
• Hands-on experience in a laboratory or EH&S setting (chemical inventory, hazardous material handling).
• Knowledge of

  regulatory agencies and standards
