Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chartered Accountant based in Kolkata. The Chartered Accountant will be responsible for preparing, examining, and analyzing financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance. Key responsibilities include managing financial reporting, ensuring tax compliance, analyzing budgets, and providing financial advice to clients and stakeholders. The individual will also assist with audits, assess financial risks, and implement strategies to optimize financial practices for the organization.

Qualifications

Proficiency in financial reporting, accounting standards, and auditing practices
Strong knowledge of taxation, regulatory compliance, and financial planning
Analytical and problem-solving skills with expertise in budget and risk analysis
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced tools for cloud accounting and data management
Effective communication, attention to detail, and teamwork abilities
Ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is mandatory
Experience in automation tools and workflows is a plus
