Position Title: Chartered Accountant / Real Estate Accountant (0-3 Years Experience)

Job Summary:

The Chartered Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial and accounting activities for real estate funds, properties, and related entities. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations specific to the real estate industry. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong foundation in accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting and Analysis:
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for real estate assets and funds.
• Generate and review key financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Conduct variance analysis by comparing budget to actual performance and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist in the preparation of investor and firm reporting.
• Bookkeeping and General Ledger:
• Maintain accurate books and records for various real estate entities.
• Record opening and closing journal entries for the acquisition or disposition of real estate assets.
• Manage and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Maintain and review depreciation schedules and ensure the integrity of the general ledger and fixed asset system.
• Compliance and Audits:
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and international accounting standards.
• Assist in internal and external audit procedures, providing necessary documentation and information.
• Prepare statements, schedules, and reports for tax purposes.
• Monitor compliance with various agreements, including Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with clients and third-party property management companies.
• Special Projects and Ad Hoc Duties:
• Execute and present financial analysis for special projects.
• Assist with client onboarding and due diligence.
• Process wire transfer payments and coordinate with treasury for timely processing.
• Act as a point of contact for clients and liaise with internal and external parties, such as auditors and legal counsel.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or equivalent.
• 0-3 years of experience in accounting, with a preference for experience in the real estate or financial services industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Busy,SAP) and strong Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
