As an Analyst in our HR Transformation (HRT) team, you will build and foster strong relationships across internal teams and with clients aiming to go beyond expectations. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Applying the Workday implementation methodology on projects and driving configuration and rollout phases.
  • Analysing release updates in Workday, understanding feature changes and gauging how they impact client-specific configurations.
  • Resolving functional issues in Workday and configuring complex business rules to meet client requirements.
  • Designing, setting up and rolling out compensation plans (salary, bonus, stock) within Workday.
  • Gathering business requirements, designing solution prototypes, testing and validating functional configurations aligned with client needs.
  • Supporting global compensation solution rollouts: implementation, configuration and support of Workday Compensation modules.
  • Working functionally across at least two HR domains (for example: Compensation plus Absence, Succession Planning, Performance Management, Time Tracking, Payroll, Recruitment).
  • Configuring market data, primary compensation basis, severance/termination payouts; designing advanced compensation plans (Merit, Bonus, Stock).
  • Managing Workday security domains and business process security, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR).
  • Creating custom reports in Workday to provide insights and support business decisions.

Desired Qualifications & Skills

B.Tech /MBA

  • Certified in Workday Core Compensation and/or Workday Advanced Compensation.
  • Minimum 2+ years of Workday Compensation implementation and/or support experience.
  • Ability to independently lead the compensation work-stream through all project phases (briefing design prototype test deploy).
  • Strong experience in requirement gathering, solution design, prototyping and testing.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable managing customer expectations.
  • Practical experience in implementing, configuring and supporting global compensation roll-outs in Workday.
  • Functional experience across two or more HR disciplines: Absence, Succession Planning, Performance Management, Time Tracking, Payroll, Recruitment (desirable).
  • Knowledge of GDPR/data-privacy requirements and experience with Workday security/business-process configuration.
  • Exposure to advanced compensation functionality: Merit, Bonus, Stock; compensation participation rules; compensation grids; metrics & scorecards; execution of year-end merit cycles; custom report creation.
  • Project-management / Agile / Scrum experience is preferred.

Work Done by Candidate

You’ll work on HR systems and transformation projects using Workday (a cloud-based HR software)

  • Configure and implement Workday modules, particularly Compensation (salary, bonus, stock)
  • Analyse HR and compensation data and design solutions that align to client business needs
  • Manage and automate HR processes including performance management, time tracking, payroll and succession planning
  • Understand and apply new Workday features/releases into client systems
  • Build reports and dashboards for HR teams to make data-driven decisions
  • Resolve functional issues and ensure smooth system operations
  • Work with clients and teams to gather requirements, test solutions, deploy and support successfully

In short: You help companies set up, automate and manage HR and compensation systems using Workday, making HR processes efficient, accurate and strategic.
