Position Overview:

The Central Head cum IVF Finance Counsellor will be responsible for leading the financial counselling team across IVF centers, ensuring patients receive transparent, empathetic, and accurate financial guidance regarding fertility treatments. This role combines leadership, strategic planning, patient counselling, and financial management to enhance patient satisfaction and optimize revenue cycle efficiency.

Key Responsibilities1. Leadership & Management

Act as the central head overseeing finance counselling operations across all IVF centers.

Develop, train, and mentor finance counsellors at branch levels to maintain standardized processes.

Set counselling protocols, SOPs, and best practices for financial discussions with patients.

Monitor performance metrics, counselling conversion rates, and revenue targets.

2. Patient Finance Counselling

Counsel patients and families on treatment costs, package inclusions, financing options, insurance coverage (if applicable), and payment plans.

Provide empathetic, clear, and accurate financial guidance to ensure patient comfort and trust.

Address patient concerns regarding affordability and suggest suitable financial solutions.

Assist patients in understanding refund policies, package adjustments, or discounts when applicable.

3. Financial Planning & Revenue Optimization

Work with management to design treatment packages and financial models.

Analyze patient data and provide insights on patient conversion, revenue leakage, and financial efficiency.

Coordinate with finance and operations teams to ensure timely collection of payments and minimal outstanding dues.

Develop partnerships with banks / fintech companies for EMI and loan assistance schemes.

4. Compliance & Reporting

Ensure financial counselling practices comply with organizational policies and legal/ethical guidelines.

Maintain accurate financial counselling records and documentation.

Prepare regular MIS reports on revenue performance, patient counselling statistics, and financial projections.

Liaise with auditors/finance teams for reconciliation and reporting requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

Education: MBA (Finance/Healthcare Management) or Master’s degree in a related field.

Experience:

3–10 years in healthcare finance counselling, preferably in IVF / fertility / tertiary healthcare sector.

Proven leadership experience managing multi-location counselling / finance teams.

Skills:

Strong communication, empathy, and counselling skills.

In-depth knowledge of IVF treatments, pricing structures, and healthcare financing models.

Proficiency in MIS, financial analysis, and patient management software.

Ability to balance patient-centric counselling with organizational financial goals.
