Category Lead

As a Category Lead, you will play a crucial role in driving strategic growth and brand management in the FMCG sector. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and implementing robust business plans and long-term category strategies. - Identifying new market opportunities, trends, and customer needs to drive growth. - Creating competitive go-to-market strategies for differentiation and revenue growth. - Taking complete ownership of the category P&L to ensure profitability and market share. - Evaluating and refining the product portfolio for market relevance. - Collaborating on new product development and managing the complete product lifecycle. - Building 360 marketing campaigns across ATL, BTL, digital, and influencer-led activities. - Driving brand awareness, equity, and engagement through consumer touchpoints. - Conducting consumer research to gather feedback and translate insights into actionable strategies. - Working closely with Sales, Operations, and Marketing teams to align strategies and drive execution. Preferred Qualifications: - Entrepreneurial mindset with hands-on experience in high-ownership environments. - MBA from a tier 1 institute. - 6-8 years of brand and category management experience in fast-paced environments. - Prior experience in FMCG, Nutrition, or Consumer Goods. - Expertise in P&L management, pricing, and trade strategies. - Deep understanding of consumer behavior and market dynamics.
