We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Category Lead. It is a high-ownership role, with complete Category P&L ownership, end-to-end brand management, innovation pipeline and consumer insights. You will be an Entrepreneur in Residence helping us scale and build in this exciting and challenging space with complete ownership of the category end to end. The ideal candidate will bring a sharp consumer mindset, deep experience in the FMCG sector, and a proven ability to drive strategic growth while being execution-focused – ensuring seamless cross-functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities Category strategy and growth Build and execute robust business plans and long-term category strategy. Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, trends, and customer needs. Define competitive go-to-market strategies to drive growth and differentiation. Own the category P&L, driving revenue, margins, market share and profitability. Product and portfolio management Continuously evaluate and refine the product portfolio for market relevance. Identify whitespace opportunities, collaborate on new product development and manage the complete product lifecycle. Marketing and brand building Collaborate to build 360° marketing campaigns – ATL, BTL, digital, and influencer-led activities. Drive brand awareness, equity, and engagement across all consumer touchpoints. Collaborate with creative, media, and digital agencies on campaign development. Consumer and market insights Conduct consumer research to gather feedback for existing and new product launches. Translate insights into actionable strategies for communication and innovation. Cross-functional collaboration Work closely with the Sales Channel Teams, Operations Team and Marketing Team for strategy alignment and driving execution. Ensure marketing and brand initiatives are aligned with GTM and channel strategies. Preferred Qualification Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and thrives in high-ownership environments. MBA from a tier 1 institute. 6-8 years of experience in brand and category management in fast-paced environments. Prior experience in FMCG, Nutrition, or Consumer Goods is a non-negotiable. Hands-on expertise in P&L management, pricing, and trade strategies.
