Job Description

Key Responsibilities: 1. Menu Final Quality Control (QC): Perform stringent, on processed restaurant menus to ensure they are customer-ready and conversion-optimized on the Swiggy app.. 2. Catalog Data Integrity & Sanity: Verify the correct application of the Swiggy-specific Category Taxonomy (e.g., correct  placement of dishes into Main Course, Starters, Desserts, Beverages, Combos, etc.). Validate Cuisine tags and ensure menu items are accurately tagged with dietary flags (Veg/Non-Veg) and item customization options (add-ons, variants). Execute Menu Sanity Checks to confirm: logical pricing, correct item availability, no duplicate/irrelevant content, and adherence to promotional guidelines. 3. Dish Expertise & Description Review: Leverage strong domain knowledge of various Cuisines, popular Dishes, and their authentic descriptions (e.g., distinguishing between different biryanis, gravies, or regional specialties). Audit dish descriptions for clarity, grammatical accuracy, adherence to Swiggy content style guides. 4. Operational Performance Monitoring: Utilize internal dashboards and reporting mechanisms to track and analyze key quality metrics. Document and raise critical errors/process gaps using CRM or Swiggy's internal ticketing systems, providing actionable feedback to upstream content/data entry teams. 5. Process Improvement: Participate actively in refining QC checklists, training materials, and catalog guidelines to proactively address recurring quality issues and elevate the overall partner experience. Qualifications and Skills ● Education: Completion of an Undergraduate (UG) degree is mandatory. ● Prior catalog, content moderation, or QC experience in a fast-paced e-commerce or food- tech/food delivery environment is an added advantage. ● Domain Expertise: Exceptional, demonstrated knowledge of cuisine types, regional dishes, ingredients, and preparation styles common in the Indian food landscape. Innately strong understanding of catalog structure and category taxonomy. Proven ability to conduct meticulous Menu sanity checks to ensure a flawless customer browsing experience. ● Technical & Analytical Skills: Hands-on experience in working with business intelligence dashboards to interpret quality metrics and audit performance. Proficient in using CRM or ticketing systems for logging and tracking issues. Excellent attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
