Career Counselor

Role Overview: As a Career Counselor, your primary responsibility will be to provide personalized counseling to individuals or groups to assist them in exploring career options, setting goals, and creating action plans. Additionally, you will be administering and interpreting career assessments to identify client strengths, interests, values, and personality traits. You will also be supporting clients in developing resumes, cover letters, and interview skills, as well as providing resources and information on various career paths, educational opportunities, and job market trends. Your role will involve assisting clients in setting SMART goals, connecting them with potential employers and relevant resources, collaborating with other professionals, tracking client outcomes, and maintaining ethical practice standards. Key Responsibilities: - Provide one-on-one or group counseling to help clients explore career options, set goals, and develop action plans. - Administer and interpret assessments to identify client strengths, interests, values, and personality traits. - Help clients develop resumes, cover letters, and interview skills. - Provide information on various career paths, educational opportunities, and job market trends. - Assist clients in setting SMART goals and developing strategies to achieve them. - Connect clients with potential employers and relevant resources. - Collaborate with other professionals to support clients" career development. - Track client outcomes and use data to evaluate program effectiveness. - Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to professional counseling standards. - Stay informed about current trends in career development and job market dynamics. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field. - Certification in Career Counseling or related area is preferred. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards. - Proficiency in data analysis and reporting. - Knowledge of current trends in career development and job market dynamics. (Note: The job types for this position include Full-time, Permanent, and Fresher. The work schedule is during the day shift from Monday to Friday. The work location is in person with the benefit of working from home and a performance bonus.),
