Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused, and detail-oriented Café Manager to oversee the daily operations of our café. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and experience in managing food and beverage services. The Café Manager will be responsible for maintaining high standards of customer service, managing staff, controlling inventory and costs, and ensuring the café runs efficiently and profitably.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Operations:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the café
  • Ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Open and close the café according to operational standards
  • Staff Management:
  • Hire, train, schedule, and supervise café staff
  • Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment
  • Customer Service:
  • Ensure excellent customer experiences
  • Resolve customer complaints or concerns quickly and professionally
  • Maintain high standards of quality for food, beverages, and service
  • Inventory & Cost Control:
  • Order and manage inventory of food, beverages, and supplies
  • Track usage and reduce waste
  • Monitor costs and work within budgets
  • Sales & Marketing:
  • Implement strategies to increase sales and customer engagement
  • Coordinate promotions and events to boost foot traffic and brand visibility
  • Manage the café’s social media presence (optional)
  • Financial Management:
  • Monitor daily sales and cash handling
  • Prepare and review financial reports (sales, expenses, labor)
  • Collaborate with the owner/finance team on budgeting and planning

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in café, restaurant, or hospitality management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
