Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Pastry Chef with 5–10 years of hands-on experience in baking and dessert production. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing a variety of premium pastry items including donuts, cupcakes, sweet tarts, cookies, brownies, Swiss rolls, and other baked goods, while maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake a wide variety of pastries and desserts including:
• Donuts (glazed, filled, frosted, etc.)
• Cupcakes with creative frosting and fillings
• Sweet tarts (fruit, custard, chocolate, etc.)
• Assorted cookies and brownies
• Swiss rolls and sponge-based desserts
• Innovate and develop new pastry recipes and seasonal offerings
• Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation of all products
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen at all times
• Monitor stock of ingredients and coordinate with procurement team for timely replenishment
• Train and supervise junior pastry staff or assistants if required
• Maintain baking schedules to ensure timely preparation for display and orders

Requirements:

• 5–10 years of proven experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role
• Expertise in baking and decorating a wide range of desserts
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
• Creativity and attention to detail in product presentation
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-demand environment
• Basic inventory and kitchen management skills
• Certification in Baking/Pastry Arts is a plus
