Business Solution Analyst

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation and analysis to business stakeholders on requirements for new and existing data strategy and architecture.
• Collaborate with program managers and product owners to support the delivery roadmap for stakeholders.
• Participate in all phases of the development life cycle including requirements gathering and analysis, design, build, test, implementation, and continuous service.
• Demonstrate proven capability to be disciplined and flexible in managing business analysis tasks.
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable data requirements and specifications.
• Understand and apply agile workcell approaches to deliver where applicable.
• Champion opportunities to reduce cost and improve efficiency through data-driven solutions.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum of 10+ years relevant Business Systems Analyst experience.
• Insurance or financial services domain knowledge.
• Strong communicator with ability to build and develop relationships with multiple stakeholder groups to deliver expected benefits.
• Database/SQL experience and expertise.
• Knowledge of ETL and Data Warehouse concepts and processes.
• Former technical experience preferred (e.g., working with data engineering, data science, or analytics teams).
• Outcome-oriented with the ability to drill down from the big picture to process details.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and manage business and/or technical requirements and processes.
• Ability to effectively translate user feedback into business requirements.
• Ability to independently multi-task and manage competing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail while maintaining big picture view to ensure alignment across disciplines and stakeholder groups.
• Ability to identify and support readiness activities needed for successful implementation of initiatives.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving culture requiring adaptability and flexibility.
• Advanced experience with agile and waterfall methodologies.
• Advanced knowledge of data lifecycle and governance.
