Role Overview:

As the P&L Head, you will lead the overall business strategy, growth, and profitability for the real estate and property marketplace division. This role demands strong commercial acumen, operational discipline, and leadership across sales, marketing, product, and customer success functions. You will be responsible for driving revenue, optimizing costs, and ensuring consistent business performance across both B2B and B2C channels. The ideal candidate is a business leader who understands the dynamics of digital marketplaces, real estate ecosystems, and data-driven decision-making, with a proven ability to scale high-growth businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership & Business Ownership

  • Define and execute the overall business strategy to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share goals.
  • Lead end-to-end ownership of the business units P&L, ensuring alignment of short-term objectives with long-term strategic growth.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams—Sales, Product, Marketing, Technology, and Operations—to ensure seamless execution and consistent business delivery.

2. Revenue Growth & Market Expansion

  • Drive growth across B2B (developers, builders, brokers) and B2C (buyers, tenants, property owners) segments.
  • Identify new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and revenue streams within the real estate and allied service ecosystem (financing, interior solutions, etc.).
  • Implement data-driven strategies to improve monetization, pricing models, and customer retention.

3. Financial Management & Cost Optimization

  • Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance tracking.
  • Monitor key metrics including revenue, margins, CAC, and LTV to ensure financial discipline and profitability.
  • Identify levers to enhance operational efficiency, optimize spend, and improve return on investment across functions.

4. Product, Technology & Innovation Collaboration

  • Work closely with the product and technology teams to ensure platform performance, customer experience, and feature innovation align with business priorities.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives that enhance scalability, automation, and customer engagement.
  • Leverage analytics, data insights, and AI-driven tools to improve conversion and operational decision-making.

5. Operations & Customer Excellence

  • Oversee the execution of customer engagement, onboarding, and retention strategies.
  • Ensure high standards of service delivery, quality control, and user satisfaction across all touchpoints.
  • Foster a culture of customer-first thinking supported by data-backed execution.

6. Leadership & People Management

  • Lead and inspire multi-disciplinary teams across regions, fostering collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
  • Set performance goals, mentor future leaders, and build a strong talent pipeline aligned with business objectives.
  • Encourage a high-performance culture built on ownership, agility, and measurable outcomes.

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 15+ years of experience in managing large-scale business operations with full P&L ownership — ideally in real estate, digital marketplaces, or online B2B/B2C platforms.
  • Proven experience in scaling revenue streams, managing cross-functional teams, and delivering profitable growth.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen with hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Deep understanding of the real estate ecosystem, market trends, and customer behavior across both supply and demand sides.
  • Strategic thinker with execution excellence and a track record of driving digital-led transformation.
  • Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
