Job Summary:

Business Manager – Interior Design Sales

This role combines strategic business development with hands-on client engagement — ideal for someone who understands both design aesthetics and commercial objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Identify, pitch, and close high-value residential and commercial interior projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, builders, and corporate partners.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a sales team to ensure consistent performance and professional development.
  • Work closely with the design and project management teams to ensure client satisfaction and smooth project execution.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to drive business growth.
  • Oversee proposal presentations, negotiations, and contract finalizations.
  • Ensure CRM data accuracy, timely reporting, and follow-up on all client interactions.
  • Represent the brand at design exhibitions, industry events, and networking forums.


Key Skills & Competencies:

  • 7–8 years of proven experience in

    sales/business development within interior design, real estate, or luxury lifestyle sectors.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities and experience managing a sales team.
  • Client-centric approach with a deep understanding of design and aesthetics.
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and data reporting.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Achievement of monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Client acquisition and retention rate.
  • Team performance metrics.
  • Revenue growth from new and existing clients.
  • Conversion rate from inquiry to project closure.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Business Administration, or related field.
  • MBA or equivalent qualification is an added advantage.
