Business Head

Key Responsibilities:

Business & P&L Ownership

• Lead the overall business for metal extraction and refining operations.
  
• Drive profitability through cost optimization, process efficiency, and capacity utilization.
  
• Formulate and execute business strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  
• Manage annual operating budgets, financial performance, and commercial outcomes.
  

Technical & Operations Leadership

• Oversee complete

  Hydrometallurgical production operations

  , including

  leaching, solvent extraction, precipitation, and crystallization

  processes.
• Ensure adherence to process parameters to achieve target yields and purity.
  
• Drive process improvement, technology adoption, and plant performance enhancement.
  
• Coordinate with R&D and Engineering teams for process optimization and scale-up.
  

Sales & Business Development

• Develop business opportunities for extracted metal products and value-added chemical intermediates.
  
• Formulate commercial strategies, including pricing, customer engagement, and contract management.
  
• Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and strategic partners to strengthen market positioning.
  

Team & Compliance Management

• Lead cross-functional teams in production, maintenance, quality, and commercial functions.
  
• Ensure compliance with all

  EHS norms

  , statutory guidelines, and chemical handling regulations.
• Drive a culture of operational discipline, safety, and accountability across the organization.
  

Key Requirements:

• B.E. / B.Tech. in

  Chemical Engineering

  ; M.Tech. or MBA preferred.
• Minimum

  14 years of experience

  in

  chemical process, hydrometallurgy, or metal extraction industries

  .
• Strong technical knowledge in

  Solvent Extraction (SX)

  and other hydrometallurgical refining techniques.
• Proven track record of managing

  end-to-end operations, P&L, and business performance

  .
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and team management skills.
  
• Experience in

  Ankleshwar / Bharuch / chemical manufacturing clusters

  preferred.
