Job Description

Department: Sales & P&L
Location: Delhi NCR (with regional travel across North India)
Reports To: National Business Head

Job Objective:

To lead and manage the entire North India business operations and P&L for Entero Healthcare, driving top-line growth, operational excellence, regional profitability, and strategic customer and partner relationships across all verticals including trade, institutions, and distribution.

Key Responsibilities:1. P&L and Business Leadership

  • Own and drive P&L responsibility for all North India business units (Delhi NCR, Haryana, Punjab, UP, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, etc.).
  • Deliver on key KPIs including revenue, gross margin, EBITDA, DOH, OTIF, out-of-stock %, and credit cycle compliance.
  • Align regional execution with corporate goals and quarterly targets.

2. Sales and Revenue Management

  • Lead a team of State/City Heads, Cluster Managers, Telesales Leaders, and Field Sales Executives to achieve monthly sales plans.
  • Expand product range (Rx, OTC, surgical, diagnostics) across outlets and improve wallet share from each retailer/hospital partner.
  • Drive market penetration, customer reactivation, and expansion into Tier 2/3 cities.

3. Operations and Supply Chain Coordination

  • Collaborate with supply chain and warehouse teams to optimize stock availability, auto-refill models, and SKU expansion at shop level.
  • Implement process excellence for GRN, stock inward, billing, dispatch, returns, and stock audits.
  • Monitor and reduce line cut %, batch modification, and delivery delays.

4. Manpower and Performance Management

  • Lead performance improvement plans (PIP) for underperforming staff; oversee hiring, training, and retention plans.
  • Optimize manpower cost through OT rationalization, incentive planning, and productivity benchmarks across functions.
  • Build a performance-driven culture with strong MIS and KPI dashboards.

5. Commercial and Financial Control

  • Oversee pricing strategies, credit policies, collection targets, and fund flow with finance and collection teams.
  • Align with HO on payment cycles, trade schemes, GP management, and outstanding controls.
  • Own the financial hygiene of the region – including receivables, discounts, and compliance.

6. Stakeholder and Client Management

  • Manage and grow key institutional and retail accounts, build long-term partnerships with top vendors and healthcare clients.
  • Interface with HO, supply chain, product, and tech teams for strategic initiatives and system rollouts.
  • Represent North Region in leadership reviews and planning meetings.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Education: MBA (Sales/Marketing/Operations) from Tier-1/Tier-2 B-School preferred
  • Experience: 10–15 years in pharmaceutical distribution, healthcare, or FMCG, with at least 3–5 years in regional leadership/P&L ownership
  • Industry Exposure: Pharma distribution, retail/wholesale channel, institutional hospital sales, healthcare logistics
  • Skills & Competencies:
  • Strategic business acumen & execution ability
  • Strong data-driven approach and commercial analytics
  • Team leadership across multi-location operations
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management

  • Sales Growth (%) and Gross Margin
  • EBITDA and Cost Rationalization
  • OTIF, DOH, Line Cut %
  • Range expansion and Outlet Coverage
  • Staff productivity (Sales/Picker/Telesales metrics)
  • Outstanding Recovery and Credit Compliance

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹54,843.77 - ₹90,852.47 per month
