Role Overview

Business Head – Online Degrees

Key Responsibilities

• P&L Ownership: Drive topline and bottom-line growth for the Online Degrees business.
• Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the growth strategy in alignment with organizational goals.
• Partnerships & Alliances: Build and manage relationships with universities and accreditation bodies to expand the degree portfolio.
• Go-to-Market Execution: Oversee marketing, admissions, and learner success teams to deliver enrollment and retention targets.
• Product & Curriculum Innovation: Work closely with academic and product teams to develop market-relevant online degree programs.
• Operational Excellence: Optimize delivery, student engagement, and academic operations to ensure superior learning outcomes.
• Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead cross-functional teams across sales, operations, and marketing.
• Data-driven Decision Making: Use insights and analytics to improve conversion, retention, and learner experience.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 12–18 years of experience with at least 5 years in P&L or business leadership roles in EdTech, Higher Education, or Online Learning.
• Proven success in scaling a business vertical or category with measurable impact on revenue and growth.
• Deep understanding of the university partnership ecosystem and degree regulations (UGC, AICTE, etc.).
• Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working across academic and corporate environments.
• Strategic thinker with hands-on operational execution capability.
