Job Description

Role Purpose

Business Head

The CEO will work closely with the Board to shape strategy, build leadership capability, strengthen the Group brand, and ensure superior performance across all operating companies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Business Growth

Group’s long-term vision, mission, and strategic roadmap

portfolio strategy

new business opportunities, inorganic growth, M&A, JVs, and strategic alliances

Ensure each business unit has a clear strategy aligned with Group objectives.

Lead diversification, market expansion, and global growth initiatives.

2. Financial Performance & Value Creation

Group P&L, capital allocation, and balance sheet strength

Drive revenue growth, profitability, cash flow, and return on capital employed (ROCE).

Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and performance management across businesses.

Ensure robust financial controls, risk management, and compliance standards.

Engage with investors, lenders, and financial institutions.

3. Operational Excellence & Governance

Ensure effective risk management, internal controls, and audit mechanisms.

Review and guide major capital expenditure and strategic investments.

4. Leadership & Talent Management

Ensure alignment of leadership behaviors with Group values and purpose.

5. Board & Stakeholder Management

Manage relationships with key stakeholders including shareholders, regulators, customers, partners, and government bodies.

Represent the Group externally as the chief ambassador and spokesperson.

6. Culture, ESG & Reputation

Lead ESG, sustainability, and social responsibility initiatives.

Strengthen the Group’s brand, reputation, and employer value proposition.

Ensure responsible business practices and long-term societal impact.
