Role Overview: As a Business Finance professional at Persistent Ltd. in Pune, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and strategy of the Unit. You will analyze financial data, support large deals, participate in contract negotiations and customer meetings, prepare reports, manage budgets, forecast trends, and advise senior management on financial decisions. Your role will also involve ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and reports. - Support opportunities, create P&L, and provide advice on opportunity closure and contract negotiations. - Analyze financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations. - Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls. - Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditures. - Coordinate with auditors and tax advisors. - Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. - Minimum of three years of experience in finance management in a similar industry. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and budgeting. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software including Oracle and Power Bi. - Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills. - Attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
