Business Development Officer

We are seeking a proactive, energetic, and result-driven B2B Sales Executive to promote and sell industrial air compressors (Atlas Copco) and related solutions across the Tirupur and Erode regions.

This is a high‐ownership field sales role focused on direct customer acquisition, OEM relationship management, distributor/lead-provider development, and territory expansion.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development

• Generate new leads through industrial visits, cold calls, and field surveys.
• Identify customers requiring compressors, dryers, filters, AMCs, or rental units.
• Explain technical product benefits and recommend suitable compressor models.
• Create and maintain a strong sales funnel covering all stages of the customer journey.

Relationship Building

• Build and maintain relationships with:
• OEMs (laser cutting, CNC, plastics, food processing, textiles, etc.)
• Machine dealers, consultants, and lead providers
• Existing customers for repeat orders and referrals
• Strengthen long-term connections to support continuous business growth.

Territory Management

• Cover Tirupur and Erode industrial clusters extensively.
• Plan daily/weekly visit routes for maximum efficiency.
• Coordinate with the Coimbatore office for proposals, demos, and service-related activities.

Reporting & Coordination

• Maintain daily visit reports, follow-up trackers, and lead funnel updates.
• Work closely with marketing, service, and rental teams to convert opportunities.
• Achieve monthly sales targets for compressors, spare parts, and rental units.

Requirements

• Minimum 1–3 years of B2B field sales experience (capital goods preferred).
• Experience in industrial equipment or air compressors is a strong advantage.
• Willingness to travel frequently across Tirupur & Erode.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer engagement skills.
• Self-driven, disciplined, and capable of consistent cold visits.
• Basic technical understanding (training will be provided).
• Two-wheeler & driving license preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹27,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
