Job Description

We are hiring Receptionist is the first point of contact for guests and plays a vital role in delivering a welcoming and professional experience. The receptionist is responsible for handling check-ins and check-outs, managing reservations, providing information about the hotel and local area, and ensuring guests have a pleasant stay. This role requires strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills. Key Responsibilities: Guest Services: Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a friendly, efficient check-in and check-out process. Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally. Offer information about hotel services, room rates, packages, and local attractions. Front Desk Operations: Answer and manage incoming calls and emails regarding reservations or general hotel information. Make and confirm room reservations using the hotel’s booking system. Maintain guest records and update the reservation database accurately. Billing and Payments: Process payments and issue invoices, receipts, and refunds. Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and maintain accurate records. Balance the cash drawer and perform end-of-shift reconciliation. Administrative Tasks: Prepare and distribute keys/key cards, welcome packages, and room assignments. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness. Maintain a clean and organized reception area. Required Skills and Competencies: Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Strong communication skills (verbal and written). Good organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in using hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Cloudbeds, or PMS systems). Ability to remain calm and professional in busy or challenging situations. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Supplemental Pay: Performance bonus Language: English (Preferred) Work Location: In person
