Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Ahmedabad for a Business Development Manager. The individual will be responsible for identifying and cultivating business opportunities within the solar energy sector, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and building partnerships with new stakeholders. Tasks include conducting market research, developing strategic plans for business growth, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and achieving revenue goals. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution while fostering client satisfaction.


Qualifications

  • Experience in business development, sales, and relationship management
  • Understanding of the renewable energy sector, solar sales Commercial & Industrial segment, Residential segment particularly in solar EPC and IPP projects, and market analysis skills
  • Proficiency in negotiation, contract management, and preparing business proposals
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to strategize and implement business growth plans effectively
  • Experience leading and managing cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with solar industry regulations and government policies is advantageous
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and meet targets
