Business Development Manager

As a Business Development Manager at Vegatha Motors based in Trivandrum, you will be dedicated to promoting clean and green transportation in partnership with TI Clean Mobility as a dealer for Montra Electric Three Wheelers in the region. We are seeking a self-motivated, ambitious, and energetic individual who can expand our business to new territories around Thiruvananthapuram. Your role will involve developing strategies and innovative methods to explore the market and ensure profitability. Your responsibilities will include generating interest for Montra Electric Vehicles, managing lead generation, maintaining reports, understanding client needs, negotiating and closing deals, and contributing effectively to business development, sales, and key account management. You will be required to deliver presentations about the vehicles, provide strategic inputs based on customer interactions, generate and qualify leads, and work independently with minimal supervision. Fluency in Malayalam and English for reporting purposes is essential. We are looking for high achievers with a proven track record in sales, who are self-motivated, confident, goal-oriented, and efficient team players. Experience in hiring, coaching, and managing geographically distributed teams in a virtual environment is desirable. The willingness to travel extensively (subject to relaxed travel restrictions post-COVID-19) and flexibility in working hours are crucial aspects of this role. This is a full-time position with performance bonuses, quarterly bonuses, and yearly bonuses offered. Candidates should be able to reliably commute to Trivandrum, Kerala or plan to relocate before starting work.
