Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of the company's

    healthcare IT products or medical communication offerings

    , including their features, value proposition, and market differentiation.
  • Engage with

    hospital and healthcare stakeholders

    (virtually and in person) to understand their business needs and align them with the company's products or services.
  • Stay well-informed about the

    product philosophy, objectives, and architecture

    to effectively position solutions aligned to customer requirements.
  • Generate new business leads and manage the sales pipeline through

    strategic outreach, cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn networking, and participation in industry events

    across Europe.
  • Prepare and deliver impactful

    presentations, demonstrations, and proposals

    to healthcare clients and decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with

    internal teams

    (Product, Marketing, Implementation, or Medical Writing) to relay client insights and influence future product or service enhancements.
  • Build and maintain strong

    post-sales relationships

    to ensure customer satisfaction, identify upselling opportunities, and support renewals.
  • Respond to

    RFPs, proposals, and documentation

    required by clients and partners.
  • Track

    market trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activities

    in the European healthcare and life sciences domain to identify new business opportunities.

Key Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree

    in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience

    in

    Healthcare IT sales or Medical Communications business development.

  • Mandatory experience working with clients in the European healthcare market

    deep understanding of regional procurement processes and customer behavior.
  • Established

    network of hospital, CRO, or life sciences contacts

    in Europe.
  • Strong understanding of

    SaaS models, healthcare IT systems

    , or

    medical communication workflows

    , depending on specialization.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills with a

    consultative and strategic approach.

  • Analytical, self-driven, and capable of managing multiple accounts in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience selling to

    hospitals, CROs, or life sciences organizations

    in Europe.
  • Familiarity with

    RWE, clinical research, or digital transformation

    projects in healthcare.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving

    revenue targets and building long-term client partnerships.
