Senior Manager – Business Development (B2B Sales – Rubber Components in Automotive Industry)

Location: Nagpur


Salary: ₹27–29 LPA

Company Overview:

We are a leading manufacturer and supplier of motion control parts and precision-engineered rubber components serving a wide spectrum of industries including automotive, construction equipment, agricultural machinery, and other special-purpose applications. With a focus on quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction, we are expanding our footprint and looking for an experienced Business Development professional to drive B2B sales and strategic growth.


Position Summary:

The Senior Manager – Business Development will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing key customer accounts, and driving revenue growth through B2B sales of rubber components. This role demands strong industry knowledge, technical sales acumen, and the ability to engage with OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers across relevant sectors.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in the automotive, construction equipment, agri-equipment, and special application sector for rubber parts / components .
  • Build and manage long-term relationships with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and key decision-makers.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve growth targets.
  • Understand customer requirements, provide technical consultation, and offer suitable rubber component solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering, R&D, and production teams to meet customer specifications and ensure timely delivery.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, threats, and opportunities.
  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and proposal submissions.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for senior management.


Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Polymer / Chemical)

  • 10–15 years of progressive experience in B2B sales/business development within the rubber industry
  • Strong network and understanding of procurement and decision-making processes in OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Familiarity with technical specifications and application of rubber components
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required


Preferred Attributes:

  • MBA or Executive Management Program (desirable but not mandatory)
  • Experience with export sales or managing international clients
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools and ERP systems
