Business Development Manager – Startup Dangal Mission

Startup Engagement & Outreach

• Identify and onboard high-potential startups across tech, manufacturing, agri, edu-tech, and other sectors.

• Manage end-to-end participation and onboarding process for Startup Dangal cohorts/events.

• Conduct outreach campaigns, webinars, roadshows, and networking meets.

Partnerships & Alliances

• Build strategic partnerships with incubators, accelerators, academic institutions, and state bodies.

• Liaise with government agencies for collaborative startup promotion programs.

• Pitch the mission to corporates for CSR, mentorship, or pilot opportunities.

Investor & Mentor Connect

• Engage with angel investors, VCs, and ecosystem enablers to build funding channels.

• Facilitate mentoring programs and connect startups with relevant advisors.

Operations & Reporting

• Track pipeline of onboarded startups and maintain detailed MIS of progress and outcomes.

• Ensure timely communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

• Prepare monthly reports and dashboards for leadership review.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Management, or related field.

• 3–7 years of experience in startup ecosystem development, business consulting, or B2B partnerships.

• Strong understanding of Indian startup policies, trends, and funding landscape.

• Excellent networking, communication, and pitching skills.
