Key Responsibilities

Identify, develop, and manage business opportunities across South India (Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, and nearby regions).
Drive new client acquisition and maintain relationships with existing industrial customers.
Lead and motivate a small sales team or distributors in the region.
Conduct client visits (approx. 60–70% travel) and represent Sorbchem at customer sites and events.
Collaborate remotely with the Vadodara head office for sales planning, order forecasting, and production coordination.
Track competitors, market trends, and customer feedback to strategize business growth.
Prepare weekly plans, visit reports, and performance updates for management.

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in
Science (Chemistry preferred)
,
Chemical Engineering
, or
Marketing
.
5–8 years
of B2B sales experience in
Silica Gel, Adsorbents, Desiccants, or Industrial Chemicals
.
Strong technical understanding of
chromatography applications
and chemical process industries.
Proven record of
business development
or
territory expansion
in the South region.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable working remotely with periodic travel to the head office.

Preferred Location

Hyderabad
(preferred) or nearby southern cities — Chennai / Bangalore / Kochi.
Must be willing to travel extensively across South India.
