  • Reports To: Director / Business Head

Job Role Overview

  • We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving growth for our BIM consulting services, including Design BIM, Scan to BIM, MEP BIM, 4D/5D simulation, and coordination support.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Client Acquisition

  • Identify and target potential clients in the AEC industry: architects, MEP consultants, general contractors, developers, and facility managers.
  • Generate new leads via LinkedIn, email campaigns, cold calls, networking, and industry events.
  • Build a strong sales pipeline for domestic and international markets (USA, Australia, Middle East, etc.).

Client Relationship Management

  • Initiate conversations and meetings with prospective clients to understand their project needs.
  • Promote BIM solutions tailored to their requirements and present service capabilities effectively.
  • Maintain long-term relationships with clients to generate repeat business.

Proposal & Sales Management

  • Work closely with the technical team to prepare and submit proposals, RFPs/RFQs, and pricing quotes.
  • Follow up on proposals, handle negotiations, and close deals to meet or exceed targets.
  • Maintain records and update sales activities in CRM tools.

Market Research & Strategy

  • Keep up with BIM industry trends, competitor activities, and global best practices.
  • Identify new market segments and propose strategies for business expansion.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team for branding and lead generation campaigns.

Coordination with Technical Team

  • Ensure smooth handover of client requirements to the delivery team.
  • Participate in project kickoff calls and ensure client expectations are aligned with deliverables.

Key Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Business (MBA preferred).
  • 35 years of experience in B2B business development, preferably in BIM or AEC industry.
  • Strong understanding of BIM workflows, Revit, Navisworks, ACC, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in LinkedIn outreach, email etiquette, and CRM systems.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and a team player.
