Role Overview

As a Business Development Manager – Sales at The Apaart, you will be responsible for driving project closures and revenue through effective sales leadership, customer relationship management, and team performance. You will lead a team of 3 to 5 interior designers and ensure consistent achievement of monthly project targets.

This is a high-impact role that blends people management, sales strategy, and customer experience—all within the creative and dynamic world of interior design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Ownership: Drive the entire sales funnel from lead engagement to project closure, ensuring a consistent pipeline of new bookings.
  • Target Achievement: Achieve and exceed a monthly goal of 12–15 project conversions by coaching and supporting your design team.
  • Team Leadership: Train, motivate, and guide a team of designers to improve their sales efficiency and achieve their individual targets.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure a seamless and high-quality customer journey—from first interaction to project completion—building trust and long-term relationships.
  • Sales Strategy: Monitor key metrics, optimize conversion rates, and implement strategies to improve sales performance.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with design, operations, and execution teams to deliver projects on time and beyond expectations.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Commerce, or any relevant field
  • MBA is a strong advantage
  • 2+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Growth
  • Minimum 2 years in B2C Sales, preferably in home interiors, real estate, or lifestyle sectors
  • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage and mentor a team
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer engagement skills
  • Passion for design, customer satisfaction, and building beautiful spaces

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
