Position: Manager / Sr. Manager – Business Development (Retail Leasing)Location: Jaipur Rajasthan Department: Leasing & Business DevelopmentReports to: Head – Retail Leasing / VPRole OverviewThe incumbent will be responsible for driving business development initiatives for retail leasing across malls, high-street developments, and commercial complexes. The role requires identifying prospective brands, managing end-to-end leasing processes, and ensuring optimum occupancy levels in line with the organization’s strategic objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and target national, regional, and international retailers for leasing opportunities.Develop and maintain strong business relationships with retailers, franchisees, and brokers/consultants.Present leasing proposals, negotiate commercials, and close transactions within defined timelines.Conduct market research to track retail trends, competitor activities, and upcoming brand entries.Contribute to tenant mix planning and positioning strategy for projects.Coordinate with internal teams (legal, operations, design, and marketing) for smooth execution of lease agreements and store handovers.Monitor and maintain tenant relationships to drive renewals, expansions, and reduce vacancies.Deliver on defined leasing and revenue targets, and provide regular MIS/reports on business performance.Desired Skills & CompetenciesStrong negotiation and persuasion skills with proven deal-closure ability.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Sound knowledge of retail leasing practices, commercials, and legal documentation.Analytical mindset with ability to interpret market data and trends.Strong networking ability with industry stakeholders.Result-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated.Qualifications & ExperienceMBA / Graduate in Business Administration, Marketing, or Real Estate Management.1-2 years of relevant experience in retail leasing / commercial real estate.Experience with mall developers, IPCs, or real estate developers preferred.Established network of retail brand contacts is desirable.Why Join Us?Opportunity to work with a leading real estate developer.Exposure to marquee retail projects and reputed brand associations.Performance-driven growth environment.info@sthapatyaleasing.com
