Job Title: Business Development Manager

Job location: Kanjikode - Palakkad (Kerala)

Joy Type: Permanent

Reporting to: Director of Sales

Role Objective/ Goal:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, qualifying prospects, and driving new business opportunities. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of our products/services, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.

Industry Type:

Similar Industry exposure or any heavy equipment manufacturer.

Desired Qualifications & Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field
  • 10 to 15 Years Experience as Business Development Manager, Sales Account Executive or similar role.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Experience in lead generation and market research.
  • Experience with CRM software.
  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Lead Generation: Identify and prospect potential clients through various channels including cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and networking events.

2) Qualification of Prospects: Qualify leads and determine the suitability of prospects based on their needs, budget, and timeline.

3) Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.

4) Strategy Development: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop targeted strategies and campaigns to generate leads and drive sales.

5) Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with clients to understand their evolving needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.

6) Client Meetings and Presentations: Coordinate meetings and presentations with prospects to demonstrate the value proposition of our products/services.

7) Sales Activity Tracking: Track and report on sales activities, pipeline, and performance metrics to management on a regular basis.
