Role & responsibilities Job Title: Business Development Manager Job location: Kanjikode - Palakkad (Kerala) Joy Type: Permanent Reporting to: Director of Sales Role Objective/ Goal: The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, qualifying prospects, and driving new business opportunities. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of our products/services, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients. Industry Type: Similar Industry exposure or any heavy equipment manufacturer. Desired Qualifications & Skill Requirements: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field 10 to 15 Years Experience as Business Development Manager, Sales Account Executive or similar role. Excellent presentation and communication skills. Experience in lead generation and market research. Experience with CRM software. Familiarity with MS Office Suite. Key Responsibilities: 1) Lead Generation: Identify and prospect potential clients through various channels including cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and networking events. 2) Qualification of Prospects: Qualify leads and determine the suitability of prospects based on their needs, budget, and timeline. 3) Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities. 4) Strategy Development: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop targeted strategies and campaigns to generate leads and drive sales. 5) Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with clients to understand their evolving needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements. 6) Client Meetings and Presentations: Coordinate meetings and presentations with prospects to demonstrate the value proposition of our products/services. 7) Sales Activity Tracking: Track and report on sales activities, pipeline, and performance metrics to management on a regular basis.
